beyond coronary artery disease, including lung cancer, kidney tumors,
liver tumors and abnormalities of the prostate, ovary, uterus, adrenal
gland, spleen and gallbladder. Abnormalities in the back, including
disc disease and bony abnormalities, can be identified as well.
This scan also detects calcium in the coronary arteries and evaluates
risk for heart disease. The Smart Health scan creates multiple high-resolution,
cross-sectional images that allow for 3-D reconstructions of the
entire body.
